In Togo, West Africa Jean-Pierre who is blind discovered goalball and blind soccer. There have been big improvements in his mental and physical health since he took up these sports now available at his school, where the teachers have been trained in inclusive games and sports.
360Ability Sport promotes inclusive sport in the UK and overseas to empower people with physical or intellectual disabilities and their families.
Why is it needed?
80% of people with disabilities live in low-income countries with poor access to basic services and rehabilitation facilities.
